Chartr -Tickets, Bus and Metro 1.3.6

Chartr is the authorized app for purchasing contactless e-tickets in New Delhi. In addition to ticketing services, Chartr allows users to receive directions using buses, the metro, or a combination of both. Users can also track buses in real-time and obtain estimated arrival times for buses at any given bus stop, eliminating the need to wait unnecessarily at stops.

Contactless E-ticketing:

Chartr enables the purchase of bus e-tickets through two methods:

1. By Fare:
   1. User scans a QR code on the bus via the Chartr app.
   2. User selects the fare amount.
   3. User completes the payment.
   4. Upon successful transaction, the user receives the ticket.
2. By Destination:
   1. User selects the route, source, and destination.
   2. User scans the bus's QR code.
   3. Fare is calculated and displayed to the user.
   4. User completes the payment.
   5. Upon successful transaction, the user receives the ticket.

Directions:

Chartr allows users to plan their journeys using buses, metro, or a combination of both modes of transport.

Live Bus Tracking and Route Information:

Users can access details about all available routes and track buses in real-time on those routes. Chartr utilizes information from the open data platform to display live bus locations.

Public Information System (PIS):

By utilizing live bus locations, Chartr provides users with estimated arrival times (ETAs) and information on bus types (AC / Non-AC) at specific bus stops.

Other Features:

• Automated detection of nearby bus stops and metro stations for user convenience.
• Option to save home and office locations for easy commuting.
• Hindi language support will be available soon.
